Students did 50 lit. of organic pesticide 'Dashparni ark'

In agricultural and animal husbandary section students did 50 lit of organic pesticide Dashparni ark from 10 different medicinal plant. and will give to the farmers for using.

Huge hydroponics unit was completed and hand over to the farmer also installed @ farmers site.

As per order of farmer Mr. Siddheshwar Hake At-post Junoni tal-Sangola, Dist-Solapur IBT students from Nagaj’s school prepared a huge hydroponics unit of size 13*4.3*6 ft. (48 trays). For this they required a one month. Material like UPVC they purchased from their local market while Other like motor, joints, timer purchased by online.

9^th std. students did this unit. After completion of this unit they dispatched by tractor at farmer’s site. And give successfully demo to the farmer. Now farmer has starting to use of this hydroponics unit. Now he is taken 50 kg of green fodder daily for his birds and observe good result in them. Students got community service of Rs. 16500/- through this unit.

The IBT students has prepared innovative & useful multi-purpose spray pump.

45^thKavatheMahankal block level science exhibition was held in the ShivajiraoShendageBapu Vidyalaya Ghorpadi Tal- KavatheMahankal,Dist- Sangali. IBT students from Adarsh PrashalaNagaj have prepared a project of multipurpose spraying machine for agricultural use.

Most of the students are from agricultural background and all they know how hard work is required for spraying, removing weeds and sowing. So to reduce such hard work of the farmers they have designed and prepared a multipurpose spraying machine. This machine has facilities of spraying, removing weed and sowing. The students have used some scrap material to make this machine.Total cost of this machine is Rs. 4000/-. Now this machine being is used by a farmer Mr. Salgar farmer who lives near school.

This project was selected at district level Among 150 projects from 135 schools. This project prepared & demonstrated by Mr. SumitZambare& Mr. Vishal Babar From 9^th std. Ex. Minister Mr. AjitGhorpade, Sabhapati, Z.P member visited the exhibition and appreciated the Nagaj School’s project.

In Nagajschool picnic school had hired a ST busin this journey bus driver Shri. Siddheshwar Hake At-post Junoni, Tal-Sangola,Dist-Solapur he came to know about IBT program & hydroponics unit made by the students. He found the hydroponics as a interesting useful technology. He has a chicken hatchery of 1000 capacity at his home. He was also suffering from high cost fodder for the chicken i.e. Rs. 28/kg. So he was in search of low cost but good quality fodder.

After knowing the features of hydroponic unit and quality of fodder being made using the same. He gave an order of 48 trays hydroponic unit to the schools. As per this order IBT students of 9^th& 10^th std has made a huge unit of size 13ft*4.3ft*6 ft in engineering section as a project. They have used UPVC pipe, 0.5 Hp motor, foggers, drip pipe and timer in this unit. This order has been successfully delivered to the farmer i.e. bus driver and total cost of this unit was Rs. 16,400. This was the cost and school had not charged anything extra since school had received a 1ft biggest order and this was going to be a marketing point for the school.
